The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a novel written by Mark Twain in 1876. It depicts a story about a young boy growing up along the Mississippi River.
Set in the 1840s in the fictional town of St. Petersburg and was inspired by Hannibal, Missouri, where Twain lived during his growing up years.
