Phonics Classes...
3 & 4 years old

5 & 6 years old
Mon 4pm – 5pm
Children will be able to:
· Phonemic awareness of alphabets a-z
· Identifying alphabet shapes a-z
· Identifying Upper Case alphabets A-Z
In order to read and write confidently children need to develop a wide range of skills in their early years. Phonic knowledge is an important part of this. We are adopting Letterland as one of the learning tool for the Holiday workshop. Letterland is a successful Phonics based system of teaching the English Language with a history of over 25 years in the United Kingdom. The friendly letter characters provide visual memory clues for children so they'll learn and retain letter shape. It is used in thousands of schools, Letterland books are endorsed by experts, trusted by teachers and loved by children across the world
