March Tuition Test

Dear valued parents and students,

A gentle reminder that March Tuition test has started since yesterday 1st March and will last till 11th March.

The marks garnered should give us an indication of their progress thus far as compared to the February tuition test.

The respective tutors will then go through in detail the questions in class after marking.

All papers will be handed over to respective students for parent's acknowledgement and signature after marking is completed.

We will update parents of their child's progress and their March tuition test performance in mid March.

LEARNING VERVE MATHS TUITION CLASSES

A common pattern we at Learning Verve notice is that students' math marks will experience a sharp decline from Pri 4 to Pri 5.

This could be attributed to the weightage of Pri 5 paper 2 which carries 60%.

Although this is normal, parents should not leave the problem without remidying it and should start to find solutuions to ensure their children are well prepared for their PSLE.

In a lot of cases, students are not equipped in al the Heuristic maths concept to tackle each question effectively.

A Learning Verve we devote 25 mins in every maths laesson to tackle problem sums.

A strong foundation in the use of proper language skills will benefit a child throughout his / her life.

Thus at Learning Verve, a good 60 % of our English classes contact hour are devoted to grammar lessons.
