Maths question for today 29th april 2015.

The average of four 3 digit number is 200. One of the number is 175 and the other number is 225. Find the largest possible difference between the other two numbers.

SYNTHESIS QUESTION

Answer for today's synthesis question.

Ans: It was with great sadness that Emily gave her kitten away.
Note: Sadness is a noun. Simliar to happiness, anger, disappointment etc. They are nouns of feelings and emotions.

Oral Tips

The Oral portion of your examination paper carries a significant amount of marks . Students tend to neglect this and display an aloof attitude towards preparing for it. THIS IS THE WRONG ATTITUDE.

Invest some time to maximize your chances of scoring as much as possible. Ask your teachers or tutors or browse the internet for such tips. Practice your reading. Record your voice and listen to it. Check for your body posture over a mirror.



Some Useful Tips
1 Do not be nervous.  Stay composed. Do not drain yourself physically before taking your oral. Hve a good luch and simply relax.
2 Speak fluently and make yourself audible in the most natural manner. Intonation is crucial. Pause at appropriate points and stress your 's' and 'ed'.
3 Using short sentences eliminates potential mistakes.
4. Answering in just 'Yes' or ' No' can be deemed rude or might send a message to the teachers that you do not care or are unsure. Project to them that you take your oral very seriously.
5. Avoid repeating the same points and do not point to the words while reading.
6. Dress neatly and sit in a proper manner. No slouching.
