This happened in one of our classes last year.
The affected teacher had a fruitful pep mentor / student talk with said student. No names needed. Sharing this for general reflection. His / Her tuition classmates were also unaware of said student's predicament.
He/she was getting too complacent after making marked improvement in SA1 2017.
There's a difference between CONFIDENCE and COMPLACENCY. One builds you up, the other ensure that you regress. Choose wisely.
